June 26-27 was the Queen City Mustangs Pony Trail and Show in West Chester OH. We had 4 Mustangs representing our club. We started on Friday with the Pony Trail/poker run, leaving Lakota West High School parking lot, stopping along the way to draw our poker cards at a cemetery and some parks. We had lunch at Garver Family Farm. After lunch we headed to the Horsepower Farm for a tour and a speech by John Clor. Our last stop and card draw was at The Twist for some good ice cream. Later that evening we joined Queen City at Shooters Sports Grill foe dinner. Oh I forgot to mention we had rain on and off all day but it was still a lot of fun.
Saturday was show time; we got there about 8am. It was pretty warm but not unbearable with sun most of the day; we did get a little shower of rain about awards time. Bill, Kamos, Kevin and Marty & Brenda all brought home 1st place trophies.
