Garry and Pam hosted a Pony Trail on March 15, the weather was a bit chilly and a light drizzle but that didn’t stop us from taking a very scenic drive thru southern Indiana answering questions along the way. We started with donuts at the clubhouse where Garry and Pam live from there we traveled west towards Santa Claus In, we had lunch at the St Nick’s restaurant at Santa’s Lodge and answers to the quiz were given and prizes handed out. After we all ate most of us went to Lincoln State Park, where we were able to see where Pres. Lincoln grew up. This is a very interesting place, if you have not been there you should take a road trip there and see it.
On February 22nd we had a great Pony Run up to the Belterra Casino; with 13 Mustangs it was quite impressive. Upon arriving at the Casino we met up with the Derby City Mustang Club, Hoosier Mustang Club and Queen City Mustangers. After a few minutes of socializing we went in to eat, then on to the Casino for a few games of chance. After leaving the casino some stopped at the Ridge Winery for refreshments. Thanks to all the clubs for such a good turnout. See you all next year
What better to do on a cold and snowy Feb 8 than to go bowling, and that is just what FCMC did at Blackiston Bowl in Clarksville. Had some pretty hot bowlers, Chris, Sam Tim, Mason, Steve all bowled over 500 series with Chris taking home the “Traveling High Series” trophy, bowling a 563. Sam had a game high score of 233. Lots of “Turkeys” were bowled also; Kimberly had the pleasure of taking home the “Traveling Turkey” trophy. After bowling we went to Bubba’s 33 for dinner.
What a day for bowling 70 degree temps with rainy and stormy weather, not bad for Jan 11th in Indiana. Not only was the weather hot but also all the bowlers, Ed bowled an impressive high game of 271 and Gary Pope bowled an amazing high series of 684 at the Blackiston Bowl in Clarksville. Lots of Turkeys were bowled 18 in all. After bowling we went to dinner at La Lupita.
