August 25-27th was Mustang Alley weekend at the Somernites Cruise-in in Somerset KY. Kamos led 12 Mustangs down on Friday, going the back roads all the way thru some beautiful country scenery. We made a stop at the Kentucky Cooperage in Lebanon KY for a quick lesson on barrel making. Then we stopped in Liberty KY for a buffet lunch at the Bread of Life restaurant. Saturday we lined up at the gates at 7:10am waiting to get into Mustang Alley, the gates finally opened at 11am. The weather this year was extremely hot and humid. Saturday night we sat by Hwy 27 and watched the cars, trucks and motorcycles racing up and down the road. It got pretty wild on the road with the lack of police monitoring the activity.
