Another successful and fun Breakfast and Poker Run goes down in history. On Sept 12 Marty and Brenda hosted their annual breakfast and poker run. Starting with a delicious breakfast at their home in Nabb then leading everyone thru the country to different places for card draws. Our first stop was at Schwartz’s Country Store, an Amish bulk food store and deli; they had all kinds of good sweets baked up for us. After purchasing our goodies we proceeded on down the curvy roads to Charlestown stopping at the Greenway Park for a potty break. From there we headed north on Tunnel Mill rd to Bobby Powell’s Antique store, a very unique store to say the least! As we traveled on down the road we stopped for a photo opt at a barn with the American Flag on it, it really was a great place for photos. So everybody back in the cars to headed down more curvy roads to Bethlehem for our 6th card draw. Our last leg of the journey led us t Mason’s parents home, since this covid 19 virus we could not find a restaurant that could hold all of us so his parents stepped in to help by having a cook out for the club, Thanks Bill and Tonya you were truly a blessing, you went far beyond our expectations, the food was amazing. Our winners for the poker run were 1st place Mason, 2nd place Marty and Brenda, 3rd place Jason and Jessica. Chris and sharp eyed Lisa won the trivia contest, congrats to all. See you all next year for another great adventure; you never know where we will end up!
