On a beautiful sunny September 14th FCMC had their annual breakfast/poker run hosted by Marty and Brenda. A bountiful breakfast was served at 8:30am followed by the poker run which traveled thru the back roads of southern Indiana. Starting our 90 mile trek with 25 Mustangs in Nabb we traveled thru Scottsburg stopping at the Lake Iola Park for a card draw then was escorted by a city police officer to Hwy 31 where he blocked traffic so we were able to get out as a group then proceeded to Little York stopping for a card draw. Next up was Delany Creek Park for a card draw, and then the Medora Covered bridge. Making our way around Salem via the back roads we headed to Beck’s Mill for a tour and another card draw. Our final stop was Tumbleweed for a late lunch and last card draw. The winners for the trivia questions along the way were Greg and Cindy. Winners for the poker hands were 1st place Marty and Brenda,, 2nd place David and 3rd place was Kamos. Thanks everyone who contributed food or drink or for the breakfast, Verna and Terry, Greg and Cindy, Garry and Pam, Bill and Janet. Also want to thank Brandon for bringing extra chairs, this was the biggest group we have ever had for the breakfast. Thanks to all who help clean up after we ate and tearing down the tents and all. Looking forward to next year’s breakfast/poker run!!!
