FCMC had their Annual Pony Trail on June 17th led by Kev and Suz. The day started out cloudy and looking like rain all day but we were fortunate to only get a few raindrops on our ride, there had been bad storms all around us. Kev led us down some back roads in Southern Indiana, we were driving along the Ohio river when all of a sudden there was a tree laying across the road, well everyone got out of their cars to see what to do so our fearless leader decided we could drive into the soybean field and go around the tree, we all made it without getting stuck, we did have some pretty low cars in the group. So back on the road heading west for a few miles and another tree was across the road but this time we were not so fortunate there was a cliff on one side and a big drop off on the other side, so again everyone got out of their cars to figure out what to do we were just about turn our cars around in the road when a county highway dept truck came from the other side, he cut the tree and pushed it over into the ditch so we could continue our trail. Finally with no more incidents we made it to the Overlook for a late lunch. Thanks to Kev and Suz for a job well done with some extra fun!!
